On Friday 6th March our school grounds came alive with laughter, conversation and the delicious aroma of shared food as families gathered for our School Community Picnic. After earlier weather disruptions, we were fortunate to be treated to perfect picnic weather, making it an ideal afternoon to come together as a school community.
Students enjoyed the chance to play with friends while families relaxed, chatted with staff and connected with one another. It was wonderful to see children from different year levels playing together and families taking the time to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that makes our school such a special place. The Juice Bike provided by TheirCare was a very popular addition to the day.
Events like these remind us how important it is to pause the busy routines of school life and simply spend time together. The strong sense of community on display was fantastic to see, and it was lovely to watch new friendships forming while familiar ones grew even stronger.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon such an enjoyable and relaxed event. Your support helps continue to build the warm, connected community we are so proud of at our school.
