Enrolment

Enrolment Process - Inquire anytime!

Choosing the right school for your child can be a daunting experience. The best way to choose a school is to visit them and ask plenty of questions. At Albert Street our door is always open and we welcome new enrolment inquiries anytime. Our enrolment co-ordinator will book a pre-enrolment discussion time with you to ensure we meet the needs of your child and maximise their learning potential. You are welcome to spend time in any of our classrooms and see our amazing group of staff members in real life teaching situations. Check out the programs button on our front page to get a glimpse of what is offered at Albert Street.  We are also proud to offer our very popular before and after school hours care program (TheirCare) to assist working families. Come visit us and see the difference for yourself.

"Find My School" at www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au helps parents plan for children's futures and is a new website that shows the zones of all public schools in Victoria.  You can use the above link to see the schools in your local area by typing your home address.  The website shows the school zone, information about the school and its location on a map.

To enrol your child now at Moe (Albert Street) Primary School, you need to:

  1. Complete an enrolment application
  2. Provide evidence of identity and date of birth (ie birth certificate or passport)
  3. Provide an imunisation certificate

Enrolment Information - Zones and Placement

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.  Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.

The Department provides guidance through the Enrolment: Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department's website under School zones.
