Harmony Day 2026

Our school came alive with colour and culture as we celebrated Harmony Day on Friday 20th March.  Students proudly recognised the rich diversity within our community, with some wearing traditional cultural attire that reflected their heritage, while many others embraced the spirit of the day by dressing in vibrant orange.

Throughout the day, classrooms explored the meaning of Harmony Day, focusing on inclusiveness, respect and a sense of     belonging for everyone. It was wonderful to see students sharing stories, asking questions and learning more about each      other’s backgrounds.

At lunchtime, the celebration continued with music and movement, as students gathered for a series of dances from around the world. With thanks to Stacey Zimora, who generously volunteered her time, students enthusiastically took part in the Nutbush (Australian), the Macarena (Spanish) and Jai Ho (Indian). The energy and smiles on display made it a highlight of the day.

Harmony Day is a valuable reminder that our differences make us stronger, and that everyone belongs. Thank you to our     students, families and staff for supporting this important celebration and helping to create such a warm and inclusive school environment.
